Falls-Wells leads the Southern Indiana Athletic Conference with 130 tackles, according to MaxPreps. The next highest is Harrison’s Nick Bennett at 89.

Bosse will remain at Enlow Field this Friday to play Owen Valley (4-6) and the winner will advance to the Sectional 24 championship game. According to the Sagarin rankings, Bosse is a four-point favorite.

The Bulldogs have not won more than two games in the same season since finishing 7-5 in 2013. The didn’t win any last year.

Schnur was quite pleased with how his team played last week but has continuously reminded them since that they need to give the same effort again or they’re done.

“It’s been a very positive experience and something we haven’t done in awhile,” Schnur said. “It’s great to have this extra time to play more football.” As much fun as it was to win Friday, Falls-Wells said the best feeling was waking up Saturday morning and knowing he had at least week with his teammates. He hopes to feel the same this Saturday.

“We just have to want it more,” Falls-Wells said. “Hopefully we get to go play for a sectional championship next.”
